Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Have Printer HP DeskJet 213, worked olny during several days after buy, after some system updates(may be due to this), printer unable to print any text from application such as Notepad or Word. It prints test pages, no issues found in troubleshoot tools.

Tried full reinstall of drievers and printer applications but no success.

Why HP Support Assistant application is unable to fix problem in work of HP laptop with HP printer ?

Thank you in advanced.

Hi,

I have tried all described above steps before, but no result.

Strange was that, test page printed, but not more;

I just went to service to check if printer has any hardware problems and they explained me that it's cardtriges has their limit of time (about 2 year), no matter how much pages you printed, after this time they will be unusable;

So, I bought new cartriges and now everithing works OK.

Thank you.

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

It's a pleasure assisting you in finding answers to your technical queries.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Is the copy working fine?

I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

Then, Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-deskjet-2130-all-in-one-printer-series...  to download and install the HP DeskJet 2130 series Full Feature Software and Drivers.
