Hi @JR1123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2755e printer is showing on your Windows 11 laptop but does not print, even when connected via USB. Follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check USB Connection:

  • Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the laptop. Try using a different USB port on your laptop.

Verify Printer Status:

  • Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners" on your Windows 11 laptop to ensure your DeskJet 2755e is set as the default printer.

  • Check if there's any error message displayed in this section regarding the printer status.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it. Wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

  • Restart your Windows 11 laptop.

Check Print Queue:

  • In "Printers & scanners," select your DeskJet 2755e printer and click on "Open queue" to see if there are pending print jobs. Clear the queue if necessary by canceling all jobs.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the Official HP® Support to download and install the latest drivers for your DeskJet 2755e.

  • Alternatively, find the printer in "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners," remove the printer, and then add it again. This can refresh the drivers.

Run Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Search for "Troubleshoot" in the Windows search bar, go to "Additional troubleshooters," and run the printer troubleshooter.

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer is not set to "Offline" mode. In the printer queue window, ensure "Use Printer Offline" is not checked.

Test the Printer:

  • Print a test page from the printer itself to ensure there are no internal issues.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
