HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Ultra 2529

- laptop Macbook Air 2014, MacOs Big Sur 11.0.1 (20B29)

- HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Ultra 2529 Printer

- most recent driver downloaded from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-ultra-2529-all-in-one-prin...

The printer has been used since March 2020, were no complaints. The cartridges are filled in, no problem with paper, and it works fine with a Windows laptop, I checked it on purpose.

What's wrong:

The printer stopped printing after an update on MacOs Big Sur.

It is recognized by the utility, gives information about the device, responds to commands to remove dirt, etc., but does not print any test pages or documents. The process freezes while waiting for the printer to be available.

I tried to reinstall driver, added the printer again, changed the cable, restarted both the laptop and the printer, nothing helps. Please help.

@AlexanderSkor

Have you tried using AirPrint drivers?

Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac) for help.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
