Cant get to print, goes offline and now says I have not driver.  

HP.com downloaded and now shows is unavailable.  I have only had the HP for less than 6 mths.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

1. Uninstall and Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the Printer Driver:
    • Open Control Panel and select "Programs and Features".
    • Locate your HP Deskjet 2700 printer driver, right-click and select "Uninstall".
  • Reinstall the Printer Driver:

2. Check Printer Connection and Network Settings

  • Ensure Printer Connectivity:
    • Make sure your printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart the Printer and Computer:
    • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn on the printer.
    • Restart your computer.

3. Set Printer as Default

  • Set the Printer as Default:
    • Go to Control Panel and select "Devices and Printers".
    • Right-click your HP Deskjet 2700 printer icon and select "Set as default printer".

4. Restart Print Spooler

  • Restart the Print Spooler Service:
    • Press Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    • Find "Print Spooler", right-click it, and select "Restart".

5. Ensure Printer is Online

  • Check Printer Status:
    • Go to Control Panel and select "Devices and Printers".
    • Right-click your HP Deskjet 2700 printer and make sure "Use Printer Offline" is unchecked.

6. Update or Reinstall Printer Using HP Smart App

  • Install HP Smart App:
    • Download and install the HP Smart App from the Microsoft Store.
  • Set Up Printer in HP Smart:
    • Follow the instructions within the HP Smart App to set up your printer.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the driver and offline issues with your HP Deskjet 2700 series printer.
