Product: Deskjet 3050 J611
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I have seen another thread on this problem but from years back and no solution.  On start up the printer displays the error code and flashing power button.  I've tried multiple resets, removing ink cartridges, direct connect to wall power.  Has any one come up with a new solution other that starting a repair case with HP support techs?

I replaced the black and color cartridges with HP originals. The error code has disappeared and the printer is functioning. Old cartridges were probably dry from disuse.

If you have already performed the steps from the document '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
