While printing reports or checks the printer will randomly just stop printing midway through a job.  Sometimes it will print a partial last page or it won't print the last three or four pages of a report that is maybe 8-10 pages long.

Hi @cranemstr

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printing is not printing last few pages of a print job.

Don’t worry, I’d love to help!

I recommend you to restart the print spooler and check if it resolves the problem. Here is how it is done.

  1. Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.
  2. Save your work. After using these steps, your current print jobs are lost and will need to be printed again.
  3. Open Windows Services using one of the following methods:
    • Search Windows for services, and click Services in the list of results.
    • On your keyboard, press Windows key + R, type services.msc in the window that opens, and then click OK.
  4. Scroll through the list of services and find the name Print Spooler.
  5. Right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.

If the issue persists, follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
