Hi. I have an HP desk jet 3050 J610 series and an iMac running Mac OS BigSur 11.1. Until the latest OS upgrade, my HP printer worked fine with the iMac which I bought just before Christmas, and it still does on another machine I own (Asus). I've tried to find the software driver I need for the iMac, but to no avail. HP haven't really helped, but it is an old printer (2011) and is out of warranty. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Best,
Glen591

Hi @Glen591,
I'd like to help!
HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer series - J610 driver for macOS X 11 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
