Hi
Just got the Deskjet 700e printer
I have tried everything to set it up.
It set up but Will not finish
Also when entering the serial number it says it's not valid???????
It's the one on the printer

Issue 1: Setup Not Finishing

- Restart the Setup Process: Sometimes, starting the setup process from the beginning can resolve unexpected issues. Make sure to follow the setup instructions carefully.
- Update Printer Firmware: If your printer setup is partially completes, check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. This can often fix setup-related issues. Click Here
- Connectivity Check: Ensure your printer is correctly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, verify the Wi-Fi connection and settings.
- Driver Installation: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website by searching for "Deskjet 700e drivers."
let's try a network reset:
- Disconnect the power cord from the router.
- Turn off the printer.
- Turn off the mobile device/PC.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
- Turn on the printer.
- Turn on the mobile device/PC.

Could you please try these steps to connect the printer to the network (in case of dual-band routers, please use the 2.4 Ghz wireless connection for the printer): - Remove HP Smart App from your mobile device (if already installed).
- Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
- Download and install HP Smart App on your mobile device from the app store.
- Open HP Smart App and follow the onscreen instructions on the screen to connect the printer to a wireless network.
Issue 2: Serial Number Not Valid
- Double-Check the Serial Number: Ensure you're entering the serial number correctly. It's easy to mistake certain letters and numbers, like 0 (zero) and O (the letter), or 1 (one), I (the letter), and L (the letter).
- Serial Number Location: You can find the serial number with help of this link https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16.
