Hello,
I cannot enter the advanced settings of my product. I just bought it. I did not create a password myself. but ews asks for username and password. Whatever I did didn't happen. Can I reset this password? Is there a way? otherwise I will throw it in the trash. very annoying.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Restore network settings to default settings.
1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu.
2. Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless Settings menu.
3. Select Restore Defaults.
4. Confirm the selection to restore defaults.
Connect the printer back to the network and try to access the EWS page.
Keep me posted, how it goes!
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
Cheers!

Hi,
Thanks for your support and feedback...
Your suggested solution has connected my device to wifi network. but that's not my problem. Advanced settings on the ews page. the manager says the pin has been set. and it does not accept any pins. briefly, when I enter the ews page, I cannot access any settings. Is there a ews pin reset step? thanks...

Thank you for posting back.
Let's perform a factory reset on the printer:
Press Power Button + Cancel button while connecting the Power cable.
Then try to log in to the EWS page.
Let me know if that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
