HP Recommended

There are plenty of other posts about the forced firmware updates that enforce HP's Dynamic Security, which immediately disables the use of the printer with any non-HP chip cartridge. This feature was only optional when I bought the printer, and apparently now is mandatory due to a firmware update. Ethics aside, I have tried a factory reset to roll back firmware without success. It looks as though some other printer types have had firmware fixes to deal with the issue. Has anyone found a solution or fix to the 8010 series?
