I recently bought secondhand a HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP. But after a lengthy call with customer support I found out that it is too old and the web services are discontinued. Is there still a way to use the printer without web connection? I assume I can connect it directly to my laptop, but is there necessary software or applications I will need?

Hi @josh301
You can install drivers from HP support page:
This is for a Windows computer:
And this is for a Mac computer:
If the printer is a little old, maybe it could work better with a USB cable connection.
1. Please download and install HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:
2. And go to System Preferences > Printers then Add the printer.
