Hi there,

I am disposing of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Printer after many years of service. I don't know much about computers, so this question may seem odd. Does this HP Printer store information from print jobs within the printer? For example, is there a hard drive built into the printer that stores print job information. It's a concern for me because this printer was used frequently used to print out financial information for a home-based business. I'd like to make sure any financial information is removed before disposing of this printer.

There is no print/scan data stored in the printer and no hard drive on that model.

Thanks to both of you for your help.

I know that there is a printer email address associated with HP printers. Does the email account associated with the printer cease to exist once the printer is no longer in use?
