Do I need to have an HP account in order to use the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e printer?  I can see using the app to scan, but for all printing duties, I do not want to be forced to have an internet connection or an HP account in order to use a printer that I own.  I also do not want to see pop-ups or notifications etc., from the app while I'm using the printer.  From Word, Excel, Paint.net, etc., I should be able to just select the installed printer and adjust printer settings from within the Windows dialog.  Can I do that?  Will the HP app be silent and allow me to use the printer in the traditional / old way of using a printer?

If you download the offline use driver set you can use the printer without connecting. HP + and instant ink require an account but if you are not using those features you do not need to sign up. Go to support.hp.com
