Does HP Deskjet 2510 series work on Mac Sonoma?

I'm trying to print on my MacOS 14 Sonoma with an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2510 series printer. It keeps giving error message "waiting for printer to become available".

I've tried HP Easy Start and downloaded the latest drivers. Still the same issue.

Makes me wonder if the printer is now too obsolete for the new mac os. Please suggest.
