Print preview depends on the application you are using to print and not the printer software.

Print preview is a feature that displays on the screen what a hard copy would look like when printed. By using the print preview, you can find any errors that may exist or fix the layout before printing, which can save ink or toner and paper by not having to print more than once.

In any application, when you open the file and click on 'print', you will see a print preview first and then you have to click on print again for the file to be printed.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Sunshyn, will this fix also work for the HP Deskjet2636?  I too, have been using a Canon printer which has the preview Function and would like to continue with a printer that will do that for me.

thanks

@ijrich, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Yes, you may install the printer using alternate driver, The steps provided applies to a Deskjet 2636 printer.

For more info on installing the printer using Windows built-in driver, refer to this document.

Keep me posted.
