HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

HP Envy 5660 has started printing, during 2 sided, second page (back of front page) opposite direction.  In order to look at the second page I have to flip the page over from the bottom which, I believe is referred to as "short edge binding".  I have the setting set on "long edge binding" which should make it print like pages of a book.

Have tried everything!  Would really appreciate assistance!

Thanks!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting issues in double sided printing, I am glad to assist you.

Which application are you using to print?

Did you try to print from different application and check if that prints fine?

Yes I tried from the HP Smart app on my MacBook Pro as well from Adobe, and my from my iPhone.

I have never had this issue before and I've had this printer for 7 years.

I did a factory restore on it and now it really has lost it's mind.

It won't reconnect to my HP Smart Account.

It won't print double sided from any app.

And it won't print forms, that I've printed many times before, now without cutting off the margins.

Maybe I should just throw it out and get a new one!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
