When using the quick print feature in Word, my printing always comes out double sided.  When I do it from the File..Print steps, it is one sided...can you asssit me in chaging this in quick print?

@genie1973,

Welcome to HP Support Community!

To print from MS Word on Mac, we typically go to File > Print.

To turn off the double-sided, File > Print > Copies and Pages > Layout > Two-Sided > Off

To be able to assist you better, could you share the screenshots of the quick print option that you mentioned in your post?

Keep me posted.

Cheers 🙂

The "quick print" I'm referring to is the printer icon in the toolbar.  I get double-sded printing when using this but not by going through the "File...Print.."steps from the menu.

The print dialog box that appears before you click on print is the same for both quick print option as well as the file > print option.

You can adjust the settings on the dialog box before printing and also save a preset menu for future use.

Refer to this document to enable and disable the two-sided printing.

Also, check this link for more insights on printing from the word document

Let me know the outcome.

Cheers 🙂
