Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The compression option disappeared from my HP Smart.  Tech support had me uninstall it and re-install it.  To reinstall it, HP now requires a compulsory account so that they have access to my private data and....the compression option is still not there.  If I can't have the compression option, I would prefer to go back to my original app.  Does anyone know how I can get the app without being unethically forced to have an HP account?

Registering allows you to access additional web printing services, such as HP ePrint and HP Instant Ink. And upon registering HP only has access to the printer details and your privacy is not hampered.

 

If you're still unhappy about the process, we shall escalate this issue to the concerned team.

 

Please look for a private message from me requesting additional information. Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
