HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I had this printer for a few years and it has worked great. Recently my printer was updating automatically and I didn't think anything of it. I noticed my ink cartridges were getting low so I grabbed a pack of the same exact ones that I bought together and put them in the printer. My printer read non hp chip detected for all of the new ink cartridges that were the same as the ones that worked before. I did the reset, popped them in and out, I did all of the little tricks so that the printer would recognize it and nothing worked. I saw that maybe it's because of the firmware update and that I can't use cartridges that are not up to date or whatever. I bought two new ones from Amazon and they still didn't work. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.
