Product: HP OfficeJet 6962 All-in-One Printer

First, what is a phone number I can call for HP Customer Support?  The AI system is horrible.

 

Second, I am trying to download firmware and software but a box called "SWHelper" asks for password-not idea what it is and no option to change password. 

Almost done with HP-spent way too much time on this and not close to fixing my issue.

Is your device still under warranty? If not, phone support is available through a subscription service called HP Smart Friend.

 

If you are under warranty you need to generate a support case at support.hp.com first.
