Ok, so did you install hp smart?

 

i actually didnt have to install it through the provided link because i already had it installed as part of a different printer’s software suite.

 

if you’re not finding it after installing it try searching for it. Open the start menu and just type hp smart.

 

when you manage to open it, you have to add a new printer through it if its not already showing the printer. Once it finds it and installs it there you can scan through it.

 

worst case you can try using windows scan, although that will not be able to save as pdf
