If the problem persists, you must use procedure 2. Act in the registry. Once the procedure is complete, there is no longer any trace of your printer in your Computer, you can install the new full HP driver and everything will be back to normal. I did this on my printer 7 years ago, since then no problem, it works perfectly.

It takes patience to perform procedure 2.

Otherwise, no other solution.

 

Believe me, the registry is the effective solution. (As long as you respect the procedure, until the end and until the end).

 

Before the first search, you have to check everything (Key, Values, Data, Whole word only), once done, you can start the search. If in the left column appears the name of your printer, right click on its name, delete. Press F3 again to go to next, continue until you are told no more files of that name are in the registry. Close the registry and above all, restart your computer.

It's a long procedure, but effective, because you delete all the files related to your printer and your computer no longer has any trace of your printer.

 

I did it on my printer 7 years ago and I've never had a problem, it works perfectly. I never had to install it again, despite switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
