Hello! I tried to install the driver from the printer setting and it did install.

However, the device did not appear in Image Capture. 

If I did not install it correctly, please let me know. If yes, then how do I ensure that the device also appears in Image Capture?

@Mein, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand your concern. There is no printer driver available on the HP Support site for this model printer to work on macOS 11. This printer is not AirPrint compatible too. 

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
