HP Officejet 7210xi Al-in-One

I have purchased a new MAC computer and went to the HP website to download the driver for my HP Officejet 7210xi Al-in-One.   The HP website does not have this system listed, even in the unsupported list.  I like my printer a lot, and it is working fine on my obsolete MAC computer, so I would like to use it with the replacement computer.

Can I transfer the driver from my old computer to my new one?  Can anyone suggest another source for the driver?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Knowing your operating system version will likely help to get a better understanding of what might be tried.

Please click the Apple icon and then About This Mac and clarify the exactly listed OS version.

Thanks for clarifying @knowtoolittle.

Please download and install below drivers package from Apple:

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US

Once completing the installation, connect the printer to the Mac or to the network.

If the printer is not added automatically, click the plus sign under System Preferences > Printers & Scanner, select the printer, and be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu.

For scanning you may also install the HP Easy Scan app from the Mac App Store:

Regards,

Shlomi

Thank you for sharing this information,  ShlomiL,

I will try it and let you know how it works, likely in a day or two because I've some other chores and appointments coming up that require my attention.
