LaserJet 1320nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently had to reset my laptop and somehow lost the driver for my LaserJet 1320nw.  "Add Printer" sees the printer but this model is not showing up in the list of available drivers and the "Windows Update" option says it cannot find it and to try again later. Been to the Support page and the Print Administrator package in too convoluted and overkill for me.  I just want the driver I had that supports my wired internet printer connection.  Any help appreciated in finding a reputable free site from which I can download. Running Windows 10 64bit.

My Windows 10 Pro 64-bit system has (Microsoft-supplied?) a PCL5 driver for my LaserJet 1320n:

My Windows 10 Pro 64-bit system used to have it as well.  Since I had to reset my system, this printer option is not showing up.  I took my system back to the "out of the box" settings and then went through the Windows Udate process to get current. Now that printer is not showing up.

I've no idea why the driver no longer shows up in your Add Printer dialogue (despite clicking the Windows Update button in that dialogue, and waiting (perhaps several minutes) for the list to repopulate); that's perhaps really a Windows (rather than printer) issue.

I have a vague recollection that (sometime in the not too distant past), I managed to successfully test my 1320n using the PCL6 (PCL XL) variant of the HP Universal Printer Driver - note that a PCL5 variant is not offered on Windows 10.
