I bought this HP Photosmart D7100 series printer several years ago. I have not used it for some time now. I have a newer computer than the one I used it with originally. I recently tried to set it up. I tried to use the discs it came with to load on my computer but it said that the disc was not compatible with Windows 10 ( just Windows XP, 8 and older). I tried to get the driver off the HP website and it tells me the driver is not compatible with Windows 10 64-bit computers. I just want to know if there is nothing to be done but to get a new photo printer before I discard it. Trying to get an answer off the HP website or using the virtual assistant is an exercise in ring around the rosy!! It is not a wireless computer. I have always used it by by connecting it to my computer. I understand that they discontinued the product but is there nothing at all to be done? I'm so sick of buying products that become obsolete and unusable! What a waste of money!!!!

Hi @Realmeanie ,
Please try to install with the next driver:
>> Photosmart D7100 - driver software - Windows

Thank you but I don't understand. What do you mean by "install with the next driver"? What is the "next driver"?
I haven't been able to get any driver to download on my Windows 10 64-bit laptop. Why would this work?
I don't know where this is coming from...
