This is Bizarre. My HP printer will only print in black and white. The ONLY way I can change this is by doing the following:
1. Change printer driver in settings to PRINT to PDF - then apply.
2. Change back printer driver to HP ENVY5540 - then apply.
It then prints in colour! The printer defaults to the wring driver before each print and I cannot get it to default to the HP driver!
Can anybody help? I've uninstalled/reinstalled etc etc but it is the driver that is causing the problem. Help! Thanks.

Hi,
Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
