HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

I tried install LJ M1212nf on my computer. I downloaded driver "HP_M1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution-v20180815-10158769_1" directly from HP website.

During installation it started upgrade my printer firmware automatically without any confirmation.

Unfortunately it destroyed  my printer firmware. At the moment I have boot loop "initialization".

I tried a lot of solutions, but probably I have to replace the formatter.

But my device has no support. Why I have to pay and buy a new printer part because of corrupted driver installer?

I didn't do anything wrong!

Any suggestion?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your printer is stuck on the initialization screen, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform an NVRAM reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
