Tak for evt. svar 🙂 Vh. Gert

I'm lost in this Jungle - wasn't aware of, that it was an english Service. I'd prefere danish HP-help. . . .
When I'm trying to instal the proper(?), downloaded Driver, I get a system-message: "Can not delete output file". . . . .
Regards, Gert

@Gert8, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are trying to install the printer on the PC. However, due to the age of the printer, there is no printer driver available on the HP Support site.
Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how. Try printing. Use Deskjet 990c driver if your printer is not listed.
Refer to this document HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) for help.
If this does not help, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Thanks for answer / concern 😉 - Printing works (due Windows - I guess). Problem is the Scanner-part. Maybe I have to "update" 😞 my new PC from 64-bit to 32-bit - if I don't throw my good / old / still-working printer out and buy a new one --pitty-waist. . . . .

The issue is not with the 64bit or the 32bit. Windows has a built-in driver using which you can print. But, there is no such driver available for scanning.
You may try HP Scan and Capture or HP Smart app on the Microsoft Store. It is not compatible with this model printer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
