1. Uninstall Existing Drivers
First, uninstall any existing HP drivers completely.
- Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Find any HP printer software/drivers and uninstall them.
- Open Device Manager:
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Find your printer under Printers or Other Devices, right-click it, and select Uninstall device. Make sure to check the box that says Delete the driver software for this device.
2. Clear Print Spooler
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler service, right-click it, and select Stop.
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in this folder.
- Go back to the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.
3. Download the Latest Driver from HP Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer
- Go to the HP Support website for the OfficeJet Pro 8035.
- Select your operating system (Windows 11) and download the latest full-feature driver.
4. Install the Driver
- Run the downloaded driver installation package.
