Product: HP OfficeJet 7510 G3J47A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2008

trying to install driver for HP OfficeJet 7510 G3J47A on Windows 2008 Server 32 bits with file "HP OfficeJet 7510 series Basic Driver - OJ7510_Basicx86_72" or "HP OfficeJet 7510 series Full Feature Software and Drivers - OJ7510_72" from HP site where i have chosen version windows server 2008. I have message "OS Version Not Supported".

If I try to use universal driver, I obtain several pages with "printer language".

 

Did I mischoose the version driver ? Is the G3J47A compatible with universal driver ?

Hi,

The printer is not supported by the HP UPD (Universal Print Driver), this is a PCL3 printer and the UPD only support PCL 6 or PostScript printers.

 

You should not install the printer on a Server by following a standard installation, a such must be performed through the Command Line.

 

Yoy may either use the OJ7510_Basicx86_72 or the OJ7510_72 file, but it must be extracted and installed by following the steps listed within the 'Customize the installation' section below:
