Drivers for DeskJet 2820e

Unable to find driver for deskjet 2820e - I have removed app  from account - reattached and when adding to laptop tells me no driver.

I have followed all instructions on the support page, but nothing is working, my hp page also now tells me not connected to the internet, so again followed all instrutions, removed app, turned off printer and laptop, turned off router left for a few mins and still  not working - still says not connected.

Before when this happened I removed printer from app, and when it was re-added it installed drivers - now nothing

any help would be appreciated

You may need to install Full software drivers for your printer.

Please install the next Full drivers:

this still did not work when added to HP it said there wa sno connectivity

when adding printer to laptop it said driver unavailable

1. Ok, if there is no connectivity then you may need to restart network configuration on printer.

2. Please follow steps from the next video to restart network on printer and install:

ok so got printer connected to wifi - hooray  ( deleted hp and basically started again )

However when adding printer to computer i got the WIFI direct Pin but once it started installing i got 

so still not closer to getting driver installed

I have installed  drivers from the HP site but still not working - looking for the driver for my printer but still compiuter says No

any further suggestions

Ok, then install the basic drivers for printers:

• HP Smart Universal Printer driver:
• >> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SUPD/SUPD-6.03.1.4143-V4-Win11-x64.zip

Once installed, Restart your computer.

ok done all that and still the same not finding the driver and lost connection again.

Think I'll give up and buy a new printer lol

About the lost connection,  please be aware that Deskjet 2820e printer is compatible to work with 2.4G networks only.

despite doing everything and never having any issues with the printer until the last few weeks I have now decided that I will buy a new printer.

I have followed all your instructions to the enth degree and like I said you have been exceptionally helpful but I think somewhere HP have done something as it still says driver unavailable and I have downloaded exactly what you said to, I have cleared everything, turned the computer off for a few days and still the same issue,

so I think its time to part with the HP printer as it appears that I am not the only person having issues with the drivers

Ok, no worries, there are some issues right now with Windows printer drivers because of the last Windows Update that breaks printer connection, not only for HP, but for many printer hardware brands.

But is alright, you are free to make your own decision.
