I purchased a dual tray laser printer to print loan documents and cannot seem to configure the printer to print the documents on the correct paper size automatically. Help!

Provide some details: what model of printer, what driver, what programs are you printing from? Have you configured the tray settings on the printer itself to reflect the media you have loaded?

I am technically not printing from any programs specifically. I am just trying pdfs I downloaded that have legal and letter size paper within the doc. I configured the tray settings on the printer itself to reflect the size paper but when I pull the printer up on my computer, I can't quite tell if I have done it correctly.

I just spent the last hour on chat with HP and they stated that their printers are not formatted to do dual printing sizes within a document. I am super frustrated as I had to drive an hour to buy a printer and have always used HP. Maybe there is a solution
