We have this printer at my company and I'm trying to turn off the Auto Duplex print setting on the printer itself. My coworkers and I all have our preferences set to only print one-sided on this printer on each of our profiles, but our WMS sometimes auto-generates a document to print and if it's more than 1 page, it tries to duplex print and causes the printer to jam every time. We clear the jam but cannot clear the job and it keeps trying to reprint the same way and keeps jamming. The only way to clear the job is to do a hard shutdown of the printer, clear the jam, and restart it, then manually queue the document to print. We've reached out to our IT dept and they say there is a setting on the printer itself that we can change to turn off the duplex printing but we cannot find it. The closest we can find is 1-2 sided copying.
Is this able to be disabled on the printer itself using the printer keypad or does our IT dept need to change the settings in the WMS system? Many thanks in advance.
