As you can see from the screenshot I only have 2 printers registered in my settings (there are only 2 printers in my house) but for some reason HP App has duplicated one of these printers as shown above i.e. the HP LaserJet CP1525nw in the HP app multiple times. This is very irritating because I can't get to my other printer i.e. the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 to scan documents which is the reason I use HP App.
I've deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, and reset my printing system multiple times, added the printers on the HP app before the system, and added the printers on the system before the HP app a few times... nothing has worked. At this point I am guessing that either this printer that has duplicated is obsolete in some manner that the app hasn't been updated to handle or this app is actually bugged.

Hi Henry,
What happens when you right-click or CTRL+Left click the printer icon and selecting Forget Printer? then close and relaunch HP Smart and check.
Also, have you selecting within the top Printers menu for an option to remove the printer?
