Hi @reply-all,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the printer's power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Wait about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the outlet and turn the printer on.

Check for Blockages:

  • Open all accessible printer doors and compartments.
  • Check for paper jams or any obstructions.
  • Remove any foreign objects that might be causing the problem.

Check Printer Connections:

  • Ensure all cables (power and data) are securely connected.
  • If using a network connection, ensure the printer is properly connected to the network.

Update Firmware and Software:

  • Ensure the printer's firmware is up to date. Download updates from the HP Support website.
  • Make sure the printer drivers and software are updated on your connected computer.

Reset Printer to Factory Settings:

  • Caution: This will erase all settings and configurations on your printer.
  • Navigate to the Setup menu on the printer’s touchscreen.
  • Go to Printer Maintenance or Service, and then select Restore or Reset to Factory Settings.

I hope this helps.
