ENVY 6020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new Envy 6020 prints only Excel very very slow. Rest all OK i.e. Word, Pdf etc.

Laptop: Lenovo T490 and also tried in Lenovo X1 Carbon ( 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Intel Core i7 8th Gen) -> Same results

OS: Windows 64bit (latest with all updates)
MS Office: 365 Personal Edition (latest with all updates)
HP Printer Drivers: Lastest from HP Website as recommended with the lastest updated firmware
Connectivity: WifI and USB connections -> Same results

Note: All other functions of this printer are good. Please assist to resolve or request to replace with a different printer model that prints Excel with normal speed as Word, pdf documents.

Hi @GunaM,

I'd like to help!

I understand that printing from excel is slow.

Try the below suggestions -

Try updating the computer -

Windows Updates

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printing issues.

For more information, go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/printscandoctor

Check the printer driver settings. Refer to the document for help- HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows)

If the issue occurs only with excel, then could be application issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
