HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer

Printer will no longer scan via the HP Smart app. Tried reinstalling the printer and it literally has a disclaimer that says it can print but will no longer scan from app. I can use the HP Easy Scan but no way to scan more than one page at a time (will not use loader tray). Seriously??? Had the printer for less than 2 years. Is this a ploy to get me to upgrade?

Im having the same exact problem just now. The app keeps telling me “this feature is not supported by the selected printer” but I have never had an issue before. It’s always worked just fine.
