Just bought a new ENVY Inspire 7255e printer/scanner.  Got it set up & working but need to be able to scan documents to .pdf format.  It's using .bmp which one of my applications doesn't recognize.  Also says it's sending scan to the computer but can't find it, need to specify a directory path

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

You can change the scan settings by using the HP Smart app. You can configure how the document can be saved.
Also, you can change the scan settings from the EWS page of the printer. Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS) | HP® Support
