Hi @IyaEni,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HP printer error code 0x83C0000A typically indicates a problem with the ink system or the printer's internal hardware. This error code can be encountered on various models of HP printers, including OfficeJet, OfficeJet Pro, and ENVY series.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 1-2 minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
  • Update firmware: Visit the official HP support website and search for your printer model. Download and install any available firmware updates for your printer. Updating the firmware can fix software-related issues and improve printer performance.
  • Check ink cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. Open the printer cover, remove the cartridges, and reinsert them securely. If any of the cartridges are low on ink or empty, replace them with new ones.
  • Clean printhead: If the printer has a removable printhead, remove it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Clean the printhead using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water. Allow the printhead to dry completely before reinstalling it.
  • Reset the printer: Resetting the printer to its default settings can sometimes resolve errors. Locate the reset button on your printer (consult the user manual) and press it for a few seconds. The printer will restart, and you can check if the error has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
