HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One printer, and can't sign in the EWS.

There is no pin on the printer. I tried every possible username and password, but nothing worked.

I also tried resetting but that didn't work either.

And now I am still blocked from accessing ews.

So how can I get the EWS username and password?

Hi @Chrismia_ryyy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One printer isn’t letting you access the Embedded Web Server (EWS) because you don’t have a username or password, and resets haven’t helped. Here’s how to resolve this.

1. EWS Access Doesn’t Usually Require a Password

For most HP DeskJet 3000–4000 series printers, the EWS (Embedded Web Server) is accessible without a username or password if you are on the same network as the printer.

You just need the printer’s IP address.

How to find your printer’s IP:

Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer (usually via Wireless button + Info button).

Look for IP Address under network settings.

Then, open a web browser on a device connected to the same network and type the IP address in the address bar (e.g., http://192.168.1.25). This should open the EWS page.

2. Reset Network Settings on the Printer

If you’re blocked or can’t access EWS, reset the network settings:

Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 5–10 seconds until the light blinks.

This resets Wi-Fi settings and clears any saved passwords.

Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi using HP Smart or the control panel.

After reconnecting, try accessing the EWS again using the printer’s IP.

3. Clear Browser or Network Conflicts

Sometimes saved credentials in your browser can block EWS login.

Try another browser or private/incognito mode.

Make sure your computer is on the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.

4. Factory Reset (Optional)

If all else fails, you can do a full factory reset:

Turn on the printer.

Press and hold the Power button and Resume button (or Triangle/Cancel button) for 10–15 seconds.

The printer will restart with the default network and settings, which usually clears any EWS login issues.

HP DeskJet 3755 doesn’t have a default username/password for EWS. If the page asks for credentials, it usually means the printer is not on the same network or a browser/network issue is blocking it.

I hope this helps.
