Easy Start Installer hangs on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2

I want to add my old DeskJet 2640 on my new Mac laptop. Mac OS version is 10.15.2-Catalina OS. I downloaded the HP Easy Start from https://support.hp.com/ but the installer hangs at the last window while installing the driver indefinitely doing nothing.

I referred the solution suggested in another thread - https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/HP-Easy-Start-hangs-on-set-up-for-MacOS-1... 

But it is not working. Please help in resolving this issue.

Try following HP Easy Start below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

If you experience similar behavior, may you see any difference by using HP Easy Admin instead?

Thanks for replying. The 1st solution HP_Easy_Start.app.zip gives me the same problem. The 2nd solution to try the HP Easy Admin- The link to download the software is not reachable. Here it is - ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Admin.app.zip

My printer is connected to my Mac through it's USB cable.

Here is the logs of my HP Easy Start. Hope this helps to get a fix.
