I have installed HP Smart but my printer is not listed. Then I went to Easy Start, Add printer, that picked up the printer but the moment it went to Smart, it did not pick up my printer. It is a Laserjet P1505 printer. It's also not showing under my devices and printers. It still worked a few days ago so I don't know what's going on. Please help.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet P1505 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Try the below suggestions-:

 

1)Uninstall HP Smart 

 

2)Install all the available Windows updates

  • Hit the Start menu and write an update. After that, click on the “Check for updates” option.
  • Tap on the “Check for updates” option.
  • After clicking on that option, Windows will install the updates automatically.
  • When Windows completes all its updates, start your computer again and attempt to print a file to check if your printer works.

3) try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 

4) Reinstall HP Smart
