Hi @Domlod

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If you're having trouble updating or renewing your encryption credentials (such as a security certificate) on your Mac running macOS Monterey 12.7.6, try following these general troubleshooting steps:

Steps to Resolve Certificate Issues on Mac

Check Date and Time Settings:

  • Ensure your Mac’s date and time settings are correct. Go to System Preferences > Date & Time and make sure it is set to update automatically.

Keychain Access:

  • Open Keychain Access from Applications > Utilities.
  • Locate the expired certificate under Login or System.
  • Delete the expired certificate and download the new certificate from the relevant service or website.

Clear Cache and Cookies:

  • Open Safari and go to Preferences > Privacy.
  • Click on Manage Website Data and remove all data.
  • Restart Safari and try accessing the service again.

System Updates:

  • Make sure your macOS is up to date with the latest updates. Go to System Preferences > Software Update and check for updates.

Reset SSL Cache:

  • You can reset your SSL cache by restarting your Mac, as there's no manual way to clear it.

Network Configuration:

  • Sometimes, issues can be network-specific. Try connecting to a different network (such as a mobile hotspot) to see if the issue persists.

If you continue to have issues, reaching out to Apple Support or the service provider whose certificate you are trying to renew may be necessary. They can provide specific guidance tailored to your situation.
