I have an envy5055 that i cannot setup on my laptop or connect to my network. I have tried unsuccessfully 2x to get help through the online chat but it it useless. I just bought the computer in November. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do?
i downloaded the necessary drivers from the internet but printer still won't connect to my laptop or network.
I have tried to gain access to Hp via the online chat agent but they are absolutely useless.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Try using the Wireless Setup wizard on the control panel to get it connected to the network.
This example will show you how to do that:

After that, download and install the HP FULL software solution.

Download from Software - Utility the file "HP ENVY 5000 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories" and install.
Upon successful installation, you should be able to print and scan.
If any issues arises, you can uninstall and reinstall.

It was suggested that I download the necessary driveres; this has been done. I receive messages that they are installed, but when I print, nothing happens. I can't use the touch-screen control panel because nothing displays on it except a message to use the setup disk that was included with the purchase. No setup disk was included. I can't swipe the touch screen nor press a selection. So basically, my printer is useless. Please help!!!
