Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a box of Avery Multipurpose 3425 labels 105x57mm as they are supposed to be compatible with all inkjet printers. However, there is no print setting on the 5530 for labels, so I just used the standard setting A4 setting.  This resulted in the sheet of labels getting jammed.  Does anyone know what the print setting is for a sheet of labels on this printer?

This is an older printer (circa 2013?) that does seem to include enough of the features to make printing these labels at least possible.

The "catch" might be the margins - the left margin in the template is marked as .09 inch

This is very close to a "borderless" setting.

Printer supports borderless to the sizes listed in the Datasheet.

I cannot verify how your printer will react to the one tiny margin nor do I know whether the margins in the template will cause irregular alignment issues.

Tracking down the documentation included everything except the User Guide (which I did find online but have not linked here simply because I have not downloaded or tested the file for safety).

Datasheet

Borderless printing >  Yes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 216 x 297 mm)

Consider / Try

Assuming the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software is installed (important),

Printing this template from Windows will presumably work as expected.

Add these checkpoints:

Trouble with labels and possibly with other documents that include mixed content types:

Document Scale

There is a setting in Word that will "scale" a document for Letter / A4 paper.

If you are having alignment issues with your document (for example, labels), UNCHECK this setting.

When printing directly from within Word

Setup:

Word > File Options > Advanced

In Section Print (about 2/3 of the way down)

UNCHECK "Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes

Click OK to save changes

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Right-Click Printer > Printing Preferences > Tab Advanced

UNCHECK HP Real Life Technologies

Click OK to save change

=================================================================

In Word

File > Print > Printer Properties

Set Shortcut to "Everyday Printing" or similar

Check each tab and adjust as needed.

Set Paper Size to A4

Set Paper Type (Media) to Brochure, Professional, Presentation, Card, Thick - or whatever you can find to designate "thicker paper"

Will that work?

Maybe.

IF you have issues, try Exporting the completed template to PDF and print using Adobe Reader DC

NOTE:  Printer Shortcut / Dialog settings are called "Properties" in the Reader DC print menu.
