Envy 7155 Printer won't print in color when using new MacBook

I just got a new MacBook and am able to print to my Hp Envy 7155 , but when I try to print from powerpoint, webpage, or word, it only allows me to print in black and white. I tried installing again using the HP Easy Start but I can't get past this screen (see screenshot). It wants me to enter a number but it doesn't say what the number is and I can't continue until I enter something in that box.

To resolve the issue with your HP ENVY 7155 printer only printing in black and white from your new MacBook, and the installation process getting stuck at a screen asking for a number, follow these steps:

1. Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer Driver

1. Uninstall the Current Printer Driver:
   • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Select your HP ENVY 7155 printer and click the Minus (-) button to remove it.
2. Download and Install the Latest HP Printer Driver:
   • Download the latest version of HP Easy Start from the HP support website.
   • Run the HP Easy Start installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Check Printer Settings

1. Verify Color Printing Settings:
   • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Select your HP ENVY 7155 printer and click Options & Supplies.
   • Ensure that the correct settings are chosen for color printing.

3. Install HP Easy Start Correctly

Run HP Easy Start:

• Open HP Easy Start and begin the installation process.
• When you encounter the screen asking for a number, ensure that you’re entering the correct information. This could be your printer's serial number or product number.

Find the Serial or Product Number:

• You can find your printer's serial number on the printer itself, usually on a label on the back or bottom.
• The serial number typically consists of alphanumeric characters.

4. Use AirPrint

If you continue to have issues with the HP Easy Start, try setting up the printer using AirPrint, which is built into macOS.

1. Set Up AirPrint:
   • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Click the Plus (+) button to add a new printer.
   • Select your HP ENVY 7155 from the list and ensure Use: AirPrint is selected.
   • Click Add.

5. Reset the Printing System

If the above steps don’t work, try resetting the printing system:

1. Reset Printing System:
   • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
