Hi @HPCustomer6,

Glad to hear that your issue is resolved and all is working well now.

Yes, your printer supports wireless and Ethernet as per the specs here :

http://www8.hp.com/sg/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?oid=6617271#!tab=specs

However, in order to do that, please make sure that you install the Software using the appropriate connectivity.

Note that you CANNOT have both Ethernet and Wireless at the same time.

Have a nice day!

I have tried connecting both wirelessly and with an ethernet cable many times with no luck. I ran a Web Access Test Results and found the Proxy Server Address, Port and Authentication all not specified. I checked the proxy settings on my HP desktop and the "Automatically Detect Settings" was on. Could this be the problem?

Thank you again for your patience and help.

Hi @HPCustomer6

Thanks for the feedback.

We'll like to suggest that you try to HP Auto Wireless Connect (AWC).

It'll require you to Restore Netwrok Defaults on your Printer and Reinstall the FULL feature software.

These 2 relevant resources will show you how:

Restore Printer Network Settings

Setting up the printer wirelessly using HP Auto Wireless Connect

Hope that helps!

Well, I got farther this time.

I get to the Network Device Installation screen where it fails. At least the printer was recognized.

I always use the full software installation.

Just to let you know, it works!!!

I spent yesterday with ASUS and my service provider. The modem needed to be bridged and ASUS set up a stable network. I still could not connect.

I just spent an hour and a half with HP. He cleaned out the registry of all 3 sets of printer files and deleted all the temp files. It worked until we turned off everything and tried again to print. No luck, the printer was offline. He installed a patch and all is well.

Thank you again for your help and patience.
