I also recently purchased the HP Envy Photo 7858 from Costco. I'm using a Motorola MG7550 Modem/Router and the provider is Xfinity/Comcast. My PCs, laptops, tablets, TVs, and PS4 all run great on the network. That is until I put this printer on it. Network logs show connection drops 30 to 50 times a day. Comcast suggested it was the MG7550. Factory reset it and everything was fine again......until I put this printer back on the network. All drivers are updated. Is there a serious effort to resolve this issue or should I be returning this connection killer?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Would suggest to try to update the Printer's Firmware.
This resource will show you how:
Why updating printer firmware is important? (on Color Graphics Display)
If updating firmware doesn't resolve the issue, can you try to switch off the IPv6?
1. Tap on the WIreless Icon
2. Go to Settings (Gear Icon)
3. Scroll down until "Advanced Settings ", tap on it
4. Tap to switch off the "IPv6"
Hope that helps!
