he same problem. Went into Device manager and found the unknown printer.

 

Right clicked on it and it gave me a list of possible printers which included Null print. Clicked on that and then clicked on 'Update Software'.

 

Driver downloaded and installed.

 

I opened Update Histoey which told me the Driver had been updated and the failure message had gone.

mentioned this issue to a Windows 10 support tech while we were working to fix another problem and while he had control of my system he removed the "unknown printer" , as described in this solution, and the error and issue resolved.  But, as noted, make sure you do not remove the active printer.I
